This is a treat we always have on our annual beach trip. Here is the variety Bailey made for us this year. I love to have a little bowl during cocktail hour on the deck.
1 small bag Goldfish (about 2 c.)
2 c. peanuts
4 c. wheat Chex
4 c. rice Chex
2 c. Cheerios
(you could add some pretzels, but we opted not to)
Melt 3 T butter in microwave. Stir in 1/4 c. Worcesterchire sauce, 1/2 t. garlic salt, 1/2 t. minced onion, a few dashes of hot sauce, 1/4 t. black pepper. Toss the cereal/peanuts/goldfish in the sauce until all of it is coated.
Put in pan - bake on 250 for 1 hour - 1.5 hours (until crunchy). Stir every fifteen minutes.
The cocker spaniels have been enjoying the ocean. You can see below that Olivia never beats Maysie to the ball!
