Long overdue wedding recap #2: Mr. & Mrs. Phil Hackley

We headed up to Michigan for the first time almost a month ago for one of Josh's best friend's wedding.  It absolutely blew me away how beautiful and quaint the area was -- and it was four days of the nicest line-up of events and gracious hosts.

Congrats Meg & Phil!  We were so happy to be a part of the festivities.

Groom and best man

Sweet tea vodka - the bartender didn't know firefly was flavored vodka and mixed my first drink with vodka... :)

Bride's brother-in-law brewed these beers

The stunning reception venue - Oakland Hills Country Club

I loved the MP monogram they had all around the wedding.  The moss letters will be so neat in their home!

The most adorable flower girl ever -- Lucy, Meg's niece

Josh escorting TWO ladies -- matron of honor, Kristen, and her sweet Lucy

Meg said she was going to have her dad be her "maid of honor" - her sisters and cousin created a cardboard lifesize version of their dad / uncle wearing an evening gown to show her what he would have looked like.  As you can imagine, it turned into quite the wedding photo opp.  So funny -- photos below.

Beautiful bride & handsome groom

I bought this dress for $59 on sale at Anthro while Josh was enjoying "Camp Hackley"

Photo bomb -- thank you, Preston

With the bride!

We had the best time!!  So blessed to have such nice, lifelong friends.

XO,
Whit
