60th birthday ideas - round 2 - pink, gold & pineapples

The second 60th birthday celebration was for my mother-in-law, Jean.  She loves all things pink and gold, so I tried to make this party at my house a "pink princess" (as my sister dubbed it!) theme.

For my centerpiece I spray painted real pineapples gold.  I have to say, they turned out looking really cool and lasted for about a week before I had to toss them.  I'll definitely be doing this again!

Sugar Paper Gold Cabana Stripe Placecards and P Press Papers Happy Birthday tags - Iocals, I picked these up at If It's Paper in Ridgewood Shopping Center.

I opted for the gold large number balloons this time (still from Party City) and the pink and gold balloons from The Party Shop at Cameron Village.

Another little banner whipped up in PowerPoint.

Furbish Oval Leopard Tray was perfect for happy hour

We all tried to wear some pink (forgot to grab Charles something).  Love this side of my family too!

Another through the decades banner (doing this month-by-month for Charles' 1st bday party next weekend).  Love this shot of Jean and the three sons.

Next up, Charles' 1st birthday (3/24)!

XO,
Whit

  1. LOVE the pineapples! Your MIL doesn't look 60--more like 45!
